1. Evangelize

ONE 2 ONE CLASS

Personal follow-up and discipleship is what it takes to fulfill the Great Commission.  That’s what our 4-week class using the One 2 One book is all about. One 2 One was written as a simple tool to aid in personal follow-up and discipleship. It cannot make a disciple, but it can help you make one.  Most importantly, it helps a new disciple get the right start.  One 2 One class is also a prerequisite to Membership Class.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP CLASS

The Bible uses metaphors like body, bride, building and branches to describe our relationship with Jesus and one another. We were created by God to be connected in relationships. At Every Nation Tallahassee, we believe church membership is vital for every Christ follower. The church of the New Testament was first and foremost a spiritual family---not a building, religious organization or a worship service. Members did not just call each other “brother” and “sister” during the Sunday meeting; they actually cared for each other as if they were brothers and sisters from Monday through Saturday.

Our 4-week membership class is designed to help members understand the mission, vision, and core values of the Every Nation family of churches and ministries.

IMPACT TEAMS

A wonderful way to serve Jesus is to serve others on an Impact Team. It also helps you build relationships and really connect with your church family.

Established In The Word

The Purple Book

Anyone who wants God’s best for their life must begin by building a strong foundation.  Jesus said as much when he declared, “As for those who come to me and hear my words and put them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built”  (Luke 6:47-48).  The Purple Book is available in our bookstore.  Have you done the Purple Book?

Established in the Faith:

Victory Weekend (Scheduled event)

Preparing For Victory

Preparing for Victory is a seven-lesson Bible study guide designed for individual devotional study.  It serves as a prerequisite for participating in Victory Weekend.  In naming this Bible study guide Preparing for Victory, the assumption is that as we follow Christ, we should live victorious lives.  If Jesus paid the ultimate price on the cross to purchase our victory over sin, Satan, and sickness then why do so many Christians live in defeat?

Three of the top causes of spiritual defeat include ignorance, unbelief, and the traditions of man. These foundational Bible studies are designed to dispel ignorance, to build faith, and to replace dead traditions with the living Word of God.

Think of Preparing for Victory as your pre-Victory Weekend homework.  We encourage you to set aside time to complete each lesson so you do not hurry through each point.  As you interact with the guide questions and Scriptures, allow the truth of God’s Word to bring about personal illumination and transformation.  It is our prayer that this tool will help you walk in the fullness of the freedom, victory, blessings, and power that is available for you in Jesus Christ.

Experiencing Victory

Victory Weekend is a time to deepen our relationship with God and focus on establishing the spiritual foundations necessary for a life-long walk with Jesus.  It includes times of worship, Bible teaching, prayer, and personal ministry to ensure that our foundations are strong and biblical.

Experiencing Victory is a teaching manual and study guide for the first part of Victory Weekend. The Bible teaches that believers can and should live victorious lives. This manual is designed to help believers understand and walk in freedom, victory, and power that comes from Christ.

Making Disciples

For Jesus, discipleship was and is a top priority.  Yes, He fed the hungry and healed the sick, but He always gave the twelve disciples His prime time.  His final word to them before He ascended into heaven was a commission not just to be disciples but to make disciples.  Like the original followers of Jesus, we are supposed to be disciples, and we are supposed to make disciples.  In other words, we are supposed to follow Jesus, and we are supposed to help others follow Him.

At Every Nation Tallahassee, we believe the best way to make disciples is in life groups.  Big things happen in life groups!  The Making Disciples manual was written to give a simple biblical definition of discipleship.  Finally, Making Disciples will help Christ followers get started in the life group discipleship process in a way that will ensure maximum results.

Join and/or Lead a Life Group

Jesus told His disciples to go and make disciples.  He expected them to do what they had seen Him do.  Paul told Timothy to take what he learned from Paul and teach it to others who would then teach others.  Paul expected Timothy to make disciples.  No one had the option of just being a disciple but not making disciples.  All Christians should be disciples, and all Christians should make disciples.  The best way to start making disciples is to follow the example of Jesus by selecting a life group of potential disciples.
